Crazy flight

Praise God I finally made it back to the U.S.!

Because of the rioting in Honduras, my flight was moved from noon to 2:45pm. The flight from Tegucigalpa to Houston was one of the craziest flights I've ever been on! Just as we were flying over the U.S. border, the plane suddenly dropped about 30 feet. There was a loud sound “BAM” then the plane veered hard left, then hard to the right, then another loud “BAM.” There was chaos on the plane; things were falling from overhead bins, and people were screaming and holding on to each other (even the people sitting across the aisle). It was crazy. I was in an aisle seat. The man next to me attempted to stand up and started yelling for his son (who was three rows up) and stuff was flying everywhere. All the while, I was trying to save a really good cup of coffee I brought onto the flight. The end result was coffee poured on my shirt and my pants were soaked through. After the situation settled down, we landed and found out that the cargo door opened while we were in flight. Needless to say, I missed my connection to Phoenix but hopefully if all works out I will make the last flight out of Houston late tonight.

Thank you for your prayers!!
