Ken Hodgeson, President

Ken Hodgeson is Founder and President of Thin Blue Line Ministries International – a nonprofit organization working with police, military and government officials, to help the children who are victims of sex trafficking and sexual exploitation.

Over the past decade, Ken has traveled the world many times working extensively to restore relationships between authorities and their community. Presently, Ken is working with the Honduran Government. Under the authority of the Honduran Child Protective Services, Thin Blue Line Ministries International is the only non-profit organization that has been given permission to significantly work in changing the dynamics of the fifty-three orphanages run by the government. This means Thin Blue Line Ministries has the opportunity to provide care and counseling for more than 4,000 children; as well as, provide training and support for the 1,200 employees. Because of working closely with the military and police, Ken has also been able to counsel and provide emotional healing for those involved with the horrors of child exploitation: police officers, military officials and special ops units. He was also allowed to participate in establishing three laws that protect the rights of women and children in Honduras.

Ken Hodgeson began counseling as part of his pastoral duties and had a strong call to "free the saved" from bondage. He soon realized God called him to a deeper form of counseling in the lives of people inside and outside of the church. He has counseled victims as well as victimizers- all of them suffering from severe trauma: war veterans, men and woman who suffered sexual abuse, domestic violence, ritualistic abuse, disassociation as severe as Multiple Personality Disorder, rapists, child molesters, and murderers. The counseling training combined with traveling the world to minister to peace officers, led Ken to begin the organization of Thin Blue Line Ministries International. The vision of Thin Blue Line Ministries International is ignited by Ken’s passion and belief that it is possible to “Change a generation today, Change a country tomorrow”. Through Thin Blue Line Ministries International, Ken is pursuing the following goals: restore relationships between authorities and the community, help provide a sanctuary for trafficked children, offer character education through the school systemand work together with the local churches to see the above accomplished.

He was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. He graduated from Southwestern Bible College and received training in the Trauma, Deprivation and Abuse courses at Ottawa University. He has accomplished numerous counseling trainings /seminars and has been in the ministry for over 30 years; he has served the last 22 years as the founder and Senior Pastor of Paradise Springs Community Church. Currently, he lives in Phoenix, Arizona with his wife. He has three grown children and three grandchildren.
